UK prolongs Evraz's license for operations in North America
MOSCOW, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- The U.K. has again prolonged a license of U.K.-based mining giant Evraz, which operates mainly in Russia, to continue its operations in North America until September, 2024, as follows from a statement released by the U.K. government on Friday.
Evraz attained the license of the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) in April 2022.
The company owns two steel mills in the U.S. and four in Canada and is the leader in rail production of North America, as well as the largest producer of large-diameter pipes and flat steel.
